New Board #2

This is a 6'6" egg shape 2+1 I made. My first idea was to make a single fin hull but this ended up being a egg with single concave to a vee. It works awesome and is one of my favorite boards. Russell again helped out of a few problems  with the bottom and gave me ideas for the paint job. I also did the glassing.

Board Bags

This year I got a new Brother sewing machine for Christmas. So far I've made two covers with it using duck canvas for material. Here they are.

My custom M13 Quad..sold.

This was my first Russell Hoyte custom Channel Island M13  Quad. I sold it yesterday. It was a great board and it got me back in shape to try smaller faster boards. The guy who bought it was a really cool guy that has been around for awhile and has grew up with the famed Malcom Campbell and surfed Silver Strand. This board will serve him well.

Moto Guzzi in Julian.

This is a Moto Guzzi three wheeled car in the little town of Julian east of Escondido Ca.The cool thing in Europe was that  they put skinny tires on that helped in sliding into corners at speed. This one has wider tires that looked really cool! Above is a Messerschitts three wheeler using the old Messesrschitt 109 cockpit.

OBX 5/2010

This was my trip back to North Carolina to see family and friends. I took along my Hoyte quadfish that ended up leaving with Mike Dupuis for him and his kids to enjoy. I hadn't surfed with Mike in twenty years. It was great to see him.
